Monson, Maine is a nature lover’s paradise on the edge of Maine’s untamed North Woods. The center of town is tucked along the shores of Lake Hebron and Russell Mountain, used as inspiration for the new logo and color palette.

Monson is a welcoming and creative community with a vibrant food and art scene, endless outdoor recreation activities, and year-round community events. The town is an important stop for many Appalachian Trail hikers—between Monson and the summit of Mount Katahdin is the 100 Mile Wilderness—the most remote stretch of the AT.

The town’s updated look is reflected in their new website. The refreshed site is easy to navigate, complete with a business directory, resources for residents, visitors, and business owners, and stunning photography by the talented Cait Bourgault.
